GRANVILLE ISLAND VIDEO
Since 1979, Vancouverites have been reclaiming waterfront's industrial land on both sides of False Creek. The south side was virtually an industrial wasteland under the Granville Bridge. Now, Granville Island is a spectacular shopping, dining and entertainment market that is easily reached by car, bus, boat or bike, from any part of the city. A scenic way to get there is to ride the tiny Aquabus ferries from Vancouver’s downtown core and enjoy the waterfront landscape as you travel to this bustling tourist and shopper’s haven.
